Hello, you’ve found me!

Listen to the wind, watch a sunrise, hear a busy bee humming through the air, make a connection with the world around you and you will see a glimpse of what inspires my work. These moments of beauty in the world around me often spark my poet’s heart to write. It’s from these moments ideas combine, thoughts collide, and emerge intwined - something new where nothing was before.

Although I describe myself most often as a graphic designer, this only scratches the surface to who I am and the work that I do. In the realm of creativity, I am also a collage artist and a poet. At the root of it all - these things aren’t all that different. Each requires observation, seeing, and merging what already exists to tell a new story, launch a new concept, or capture a feeling.

This idea of observation and taking what is already present to make something new is why research is central to my design process. It is what gives my work the ground on which it stands and the heart that allows it to fly and take off. Because of research, there is meaning behind my work that ensures what I create is here to last - built upon an idea, a spark, or a bit of history now woven into something new.

I live in Marion, IN with my wife Emily (who is also a talented designer and illustrator.)
